Warranty Services

Across the many sectors of the automotive industry, warranty cases amount to 40 billion USD and are a sign of poor processes and methods throughout the manufacturer’s company.

Around 75 % of the warranty cases are caused by the manufacturer himself and the other 25 % by dealers.

RLE International makes its comprehensive Warranty Services available to dealers and therefore provides exactly what is needed to tackle the causes of warranty cases, concentrating both on the activities of the manufacturer and the aftermarket elements of their dealers (service, parts and processes).


SWAT – Strategic Warranty Attack Teams

Subject matter experts from a wide range of different areas at RLE International such as Development, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Dimensional Management or Warranty Processing form strategic teams (SWAT – Strategic Warranty Attack Teams) with the aim of developing and implementing tailor-made solutions.

For this purpose, the RLE International experts make the respective tools and services available to manufacturers, with the aid of which, the reasons for unnecessary warranty cases can be identified, reduced and avoided completely. RLE International focuses both on the goods produced by the manufacturer as well as on the after-sales elements at dealers, such as service, parts or working processes.

  • Processing of warranty case evaluation by providing adequately trained employees to check incoming claims from dealers and to accept / refuse these accordingly.
  • If required, advice to dealers about refused warranty claims in order to avoid repeats of the same incorrect claims in future
  • Analysis and evaluation of warranty claims
  • Monitoring of warranty processes through internal warranty reviews by dealers: Determination of incorrect processes, evaluation of technical competence, monitoring of administrative ability and warranty claims procedures
  • Preliminary approval of repair measures for dealers with high warranty costs or selectively for expensive repairs or “new technologies”
